US Embassy tips small scale business women on skills for economic growth

The US Embassy has set up an initiative for skilling women entrepreneurs setting up small-scale businesses with the aim of improving their family’s well-being. Ellen Masi, the Public Affairs Counsellor at the US Embassy, this initiative has started with capacity building as well as giving them business ideas, to increase the economic growth in the country. Masi says that some women start-up businesses without acquiring skills in that particular business which eventually leads to their downfall at the initial stage.
