Now more than ever, women are challenging the status quo and becoming the leaders we need to prepare for the next quickly approaching era.

On April 14, the first-ever virtual SAP Speaker Series event hosted by HanaHaus welcomed Cheriana Griggs a Sr. UX Designer at Google, Kasia Kesicka, a design team leader at SAP, and Pamela Bailey, who leads design thinking and innovation at Facebook. These influential women presented in front of more than 350 digital viewers, doubling the number of attendees the Speaker Series has seen yet! These incredible women shared their unique experiences and told their deeply insightful stories that translated into meaningful advice for the audience. They discussed the future of the design industry while speaking openly about the challenges female leaders face today.

Cheriana is a San Francisco resident, strong advocate for women in the workplace and Sr. UX Designer at Google. She’s passionate about building excellent product experiences and growing teams that thrive on great company culture. In her current role, she leads a team of designers focused on helping people make sense of the world’s information through answers and exploration features on Google Search.

Kasia leads a team of designers at the SAP central UX team. Her team’s current focus is enabling others to build better experiences with SAP Fiori Design System. Kasia thrives on collaboration with folks with different passions and perspectives and strives to unlock everyone’s unique superpowers. She is as passionate about user-centered design as she is about creating a committed diverse team that loves to work, learn, and play together.

Pamela leads design thinking and innovation for global products and service experiences that customers love. She champions user-centered design and coaches teams to “Make it smart, then make it beautiful.” A few years ago, while at Intuit, she undertook the first experience-driven redesign of QuickBooks, setting a new company wide standard for design strategy and earning the K2 Quality Award for Small Business Accounting Software.
