Today at 1100 GMT as part of the BBC’s #100women series, BBC Africa will host a Google hang-out to discuss whether African societies can accept women in leadership. If you’re a woman in a leadership position, what kind of reaction have you had from those inside and outside your organisation? Are men still reluctant to accept women in positions of power and the decisions they make? Do men feel threatened by the advancement of women in the workplace? Do quota systems help to get women up to parity with men? Or are they a backward step? Are young girls still groomed to be the helper at home rather than someone with ambitious targets? Do women subconsciously limit themselves to expect less from a career? What is the price women pay for pursuing their goals? Let us know your thoughts and experiences
