Are female leaders more important than male leaders?

Throughout the pandemic, millions have left the workforce, but this has disproportionately affected women

Globally, only 47% of women are working or looking for work, compared to 72% of men

**While this directly impacts gender ratios at work, the bigger problem is with the loss of female leaders.**

The Potential Project has conducted a multi-year study of leaders and employees of 5,000 companies in 100 countries, and the results were shocking.

They found that women leaders are twice as likely to be ranked by their followers as wise and compassionate compared to male leaders.

They also found that job satisfaction is 86% higher for an employee that works for a wise and compassionate leader.

This means there will be a loss in productivity from every employee that won’t be working for a woman.
