In honor of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and our 50th anniversary of welcoming the first female students to SJU, a group of Saint Joseph’s University faculty, staff and students are organizing events designed to celebrate and recognize women, and shine light on the continued fight for gender equality.

In this series, Cheryl McConnell, Ph.D., Saint Joseph’s University provost and vice president for academic affairs, discusses women’s roles in leadership and society as part of SJU’s 100-Second Lecture Series.

The series is just one way SJU is celebrating women in 2020. It will feature six members of the Saint Joseph’s community – an administrator, a staff member, a faculty member, a coach, a student and an alumnae – to speak for just shy of two minutes on the topic of leadership.
