I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Amanda Tress, an inspiring female entrepreneur who gives back by empowering women in business. She talks about her path to success, the weight loss program she created, and how she’s been able to make her brand stand out from the rest within the fast-growing, saturated fitness marketplace.

When she started her weight loss program three years ago, she received a great deal of negative and hurtful criticism. Back then the idea of intermittent fasting – now a mainstream nutritional tool – was seen as unproven and intimidating to many people.

Despite the criticism, Amanda stuck to what she knew to be true from her own results and those of her gym clients. She was able to successfully market her brand, make it stand out from the rest, and build a seven-figure business that continues to grow and thrive.

These days, Amanda is empowering women in business with her micro-influencer and train-the-trainer models.

The micro-influencers Amanda works with typically have from 3,000 to 10,000 followers. She partners with women in complementary industries, simultaneously helping them make significant income in their own businesses and having them spread the word about her brand. She doesn’t sponsor or compensate these influencers – the endorsements these women give her are genuine.

Amanda’s training model also makes her stand out from the rest. She teaches other fitness professionals the science behind FASTer Way to Weight Loss®. She shows these newly certified coaches the ins and outs of her program and sets them on the path to building their own fitness businesses.

Further demonstrating how Amanda Tress is empowering women in business, she will join us as a speaker at this year’s Brilliant event:
