Marie-Christine Ostermann is just 30-years-old and runs her own wholesale food company,Rulko,in Hamm in western Germany employing 150 people. Having a woman as a boss is still an unusual sight in Germany.Ostermann is aware that women have special skills to offer when it comes to managing a business. She wants more women on the management boards of Germany’s businesses and promotes that idea as a member of Germany’s Association of Young Business People. Manuel Özcerkes visited Ostermann and spent a day watching her at work.
