Responding to the needs of local women’s organizations that are
chronically underfunded, the government of Canada will be supporting six such entities through a 4.5 Million Canadian Dollars fund, as they lobby to tackle and overcome gender barriers plaguing the Guyanese society. Amel Griffith reports.
