The Women’s Leadership National Camp leadership team welcomed 6 guests, including Ambassador Kamala Shirin Lakhdhir, who spoke to and ran activities with the students about being life long learners, standing up to bullying, being a female doctor, starting your own business, and what it takes to be a “leader”. A few truths ran through every session: to be a leader you have to care about who and what you’re leading, use your support system–that’s why they’re there!, and being a female leader IS hard, but that shouldn’t stop you, it should only make you want it more.
